High phosphates are caused by excess fish waste and fish food decomposing in pond water. As the fish waste and uneaten food decompose, reactive phosphates are released into the water, resulting in poor water clarity. Phos Out will remove reactive phosphates, resulting in clear pond water. Note: After using Phos Out, a slight, temporary haze may occur in the water. It will disappear within a few hours.
