A basin is ideal for in-ground water collection for fountains, bubbling rocks, ceramic waterfeatures and small pre-formed waterfall systems like the Colorfalls or Sheer Spillway systems. The grate protects the pump and plumbing from getting crushed by the weight of the ornamental feature.
Installation recommendation: Use cinder blocks under the grate to support the weight of the fountain feature
