Generally speaking, you can visit our web site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. However, we are likely to track the Internet domain addresses from which people visit us and analyze this data for preferences, trends and statistics and future promotional ideas. Unless you voluntarily tell us who you are, individual users will remain anonymous.
There may be times (i.e., when you subscribe to a service, participate in a contest or promotion, purchase a product, etc.) when we ask you to provide personal information about yourself, i.e., your name, telephone number, shipping/billing address, email address, gender, credit card information, birth date, etc. We may also maintain a record of your purchases.
Whether or not you choose to provide the above information is of course up to you. However, if you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to purchase products, access certain services, offers and content on our web site. In addition, we may need to contact you via phone, email or USPS mail solely to address specific issues with regards to your order even if you have chosen not to receive communications from us.
USE OF INFORMATION
We use the contact information you provide for internal purposes, such as, subscription or registration, confirming and tracking your order, personal preferences, informing you of new products, trends and statistics, services and offers, and providing you with information about Path & Pond. We do not sell, rent, exchange, share and/or cross-reference information, including contact information about you that will enable any one other than ourselves and our affiliates to contact you regarding products and services that may be of interest to you. At times we may contract with unaffiliated third parties to assist us in managing and maintaining our customer information. At no time will we authorize those parties to use your information for any other purpose. We may only disclose your contact information when we believe the law or legal process requires it.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure. While we strive to protect your contact information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web site. However, we take precautions to protect the security of your contact information that you share with us (at your own risk) by our use of encryption and authentication tools.
We encourage you keep your computer updated with the latest downloadable security software and to keep your password in a safe place. Do not give your password to anyone. Also, be sure to close your browser window and log off your account whenever you are finished with your visit.
