(Effective February 15, 2011)

Path & Pond is committed to protecting your privacy while visiting or using our web site. This privacy policy will help you understand what information is collected when you visit and how that information will be used. If we make any changes to this policy in the future, we will post those changes here. Since this policy applies to you and may be subject to changes, you should review this policy from time to time.

Generally speaking, you can visit our web site without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. However, we are likely to track the Internet domain addresses from which people visit us and analyze this data for preferences, trends and statistics and future promotional ideas. Unless you voluntarily tell us who you are, individual users will remain anonymous.

There may be times (i.e., when you subscribe to a service, participate in a contest or promotion, purchase a product, etc.) when we ask you to provide personal information about yourself, i.e., your name, telephone number, shipping/billing address, email address, gender, credit card information, birth date, etc. We may also maintain a record of your purchases.

Whether or not you choose to provide the above information is of course up to you. However, if you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to purchase products, access certain services, offers and content on our web site. In addition, we may need to contact you via phone, email or USPS mail solely to address specific issues with regards to your order even if you have chosen not to receive communications from us.

We use the contact information you provide for internal purposes, such as, subscription or registration, confirming and tracking your order, personal preferences, informing you of new products, trends and statistics, services and offers, and providing you with information about Path & Pond. We do not sell, rent, exchange, share and/or cross-reference information, including contact information about you that will enable any one other than ourselves and our affiliates to contact you regarding products and services that may be of interest to you. At times we may contract with unaffiliated third parties to assist us in managing and maintaining our customer information. At no time will we authorize those parties to use your information for any other purpose. We may only disclose your contact information when we believe the law or legal process requires it.

A cookie is a small file that our web server will store on your computer to give you an individual ID. We use cookies to allow us to understand what areas of our web site are of interest to you so that we can better serve you. By allowing Path & Pond Inc. to place a cookie on your computer, you will be able to retrieve your shopping cart during a future visit. In this case, only Path & Pond can read that information.

You may be able to set your browser to either refuse cookies in the future or warn you before accepting a cookie. Please note that if you set your browser to refuse cookies, some parts of our web site may not work properly and you may be unable to continue shopping with us.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure. While we strive to protect your contact information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our web site. However, we take precautions to protect the security of your contact information that you share with us (at your own risk) by our use of encryption and authentication tools.

We encourage you keep your computer updated with the latest downloadable security software and to keep your password in a safe place. Do not give your password to anyone. Also, be sure to close your browser window and log off your account whenever you are finished with your visit. This is to ensure that others cannot access your account, especially if you are sharing a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public setting.

Our web site may contain links to other web sites operated and maintained by third parties, over which we have no control. Privacy policies on such linked sites may be different from our privacy policy. Your access of such linked sites is always at your own risk. Be sure to always read the privacy policy of a linked site before disclosing any personal information on that site.

Path & Pond Inc. is concerned about the safety of children using the Internet. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from any visitor under the age of 13 without prior, certifiable parental consent. If we discover that a child under the age of 13 has registered without parental consent, we will remove his or her registration information from our files. We may then maintain a record of the child's name and address in a DO NOT REGISTER file to prevent future registration by them.

We may provide access to discussion boards on our web site as a convenience to our customers. Please remember that any information disclosed in this area is available to the public. Any personal information you provide in this area is beyond our control and you should use caution before disclosing any personal information about yourself.

If we decide to change our privacy policy in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice on our web site.
